Toyota Motor Manufacturing of WV contacted Mountaineer Packaging to quickly develop a storage module for parts that were being built in advance of their required date. The company was anticipating that they would soon run short in their packaging inventory of “production” storage modules and they needed a solution to store parts that could be quickly developed.
Mountaineer Packaging worked with Toyota to understand the project requirements and used sample parts to develop a prototype storage module within a few days. Mountaineer demonstrated the prototype to Toyota, took direction on improvements/changes and worked with the client to arrange Just-In-Time delivery prior to the “build ahead” production shifts that had been scheduled. Mountaineer’s delivery trucks continued to roll deliveries to Toyota until 2AM on the morning before the extra production was to begin. Brian Canterbury and Joshua Pearson, Mountaineer Packaging’s executive management team worked with Toyota team members early into the morning to support the assembly of the containers at the production site.
Mountaineer Packaging can work with your team to understand your packaging needs. We are experienced in working with a variety of raw materials and can often operate on very narrow lead times. Contact Mountaineer Packaging today for your special packaging project.
Blue Smoke Salsa is a highly successful small business based in WV. Early in 2006, the company redesigned its marketing materials (logo, color scheme, etc.) and began the process of using the new “look” on every piece of marketing material available.
Mountaineer Packaging had long been the supplier of Blue Smoke’s custom printed shipping boxes, but this would be the first time that Blue Smoke would make any significant change to that look. By working together with Blue Smoke to ensure that the logo and design was appropriately fitted to the new container, and that the color of the print on the new package matched the new “look” color scheme, Mountaineer Packaging helped to make the transition to the new “look” as seemless as possible in terms of Blue Smoke’s packaging materials.
Mountaineer Packaging can design logos and artwork for your packaging, or we can work with your existing design so that it can be printed on your box. We have found that the minimal investment in printing your boxes will increase your company’s identity in the marketplace. It may be the most cost effective form of advertising your company can undertake.
Clark Truck Parts specializes in US Military 6 x 6 all wheel drive trucks. Over the past 45 years, the company has done business around the world. Clark was working to fill a large order that would be shipped overseas. The order would require 30 wooden crates with specific requirements. Mountaineer Packaging worked with Clark to develop a prototype, refine the prototype and to produce the crates. When an unforeseen difficulty arose during the sealing of the crates, Mountaineer responded the same day with a design modification to correct the problem.
Clark had also asked Mountaineer to mark the crates with “Clark Truck Parts.” For this task, Mountaineer Packaging designed a laser cut stencil featuring the Clark Truck Parts logo, contact information and website address. The stencil was cut from a durable plastic and several copies were created. At the end of the project, Mountaineer provided these stencils for Clark’s use in the future.
